Having travelled up from Bristol, Fran and I stop for the night at The Leauses in Cirencester.

The Cotswolds, an area of oustanding beauty.

My map told me that Bibury was a "Showpiece Village", and this is it. It was indeed a delightful village, with a trout farm and rows of cottages.

This was fairly early in the morning and there were very few people out and about. There were trout playing in the river in quite abundant numbers.

Several bridges crossed the river and gave good vantage points for watching the fish and the ducks or just generally soaking up the scenery.

The row of cottages seen below left is Arlington Row. and they grace many postcards available in the Cotswolds shops.

There was a group of people on a photo-shoot though they appeared too busy to interrupt and ask what it was for.

An alsation was being walked up and down the row repeatedly.
